Control of Asbestos Regs. 2006
From 13/11/06 workers likely to disturb Asbestos containing
materials while working, must be given Asbestos Awareness Training
annually.
Includes workers like maintenance men, electricians, plumbers
working in little used service areas of buildings where Asbestos
may still be found.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO)
This apples to all commercial premises as well as outdoor events
The responsible person must undertake a Fire Risk Assessment. If
not competent this may be done by anybody who is, including outside
consultants.
In force since 1/10/06.
Fire Risk Assessments should be in place now.
