Futures
The Health and Safety Executive is currently investigating
changes to the First Aid at Work '4 day' course, with suggestions
that it will become a 3 day course with yearly refresher courses.
This is likely to happen, but we're probably at least a year away
from this change.
Another new first aid course being considered is the "Emergency
First Aid", a one day course, that is likely to replace the current
Appointed Person course. The main difference will be that it will
come under the control of the HSE. This course is not currently
available and we are again at least a year from this change.
